What is the mental health research register?
The Scottish Mental Health Research Register provides an opportunity for people to take part in research on mental illness. If you join the Register we will send you information about research projects as they become available.
Who is eligible to join the register?
We are looking for people who would be willing to take part in research studies. If you have a diagnosis of mental illness you may be able to contribute to research that could help us to understand what causes the illness or how to treat it. However, you do not have to have a mental illness to join the Scottish Mental Health Research Register.

Would you like to recruit to or use the register?
If you are a research or clinican who would like to recruit people to the Research Register or you are interested in finding out how the Register can assist in recruiting for your researcch, please email Emma Witt our lead Research Assistant for initial enquiries.
